BASICS Colours EXTERNAL IMAGES OF MAN
In
compliance with Johann ITTENA STUDIES
Nature mixes paint. In the spring they are juicy and
bright, summer - and a little powdered blurred autumn - gold and luxury in the
winter - ice and cold. The recognition that the range of colors of four seasons
is reflected in public and everyone can classify themselves to a particular
season, mainly started with the research of Johann
Ittena. In the early 20th century Swiss painter and art
theorist Johannes Itten, watching his students discovered that they intuitively
choose the colors for his paintings, in harmony with their own natural color
(color of skin, eyes, hair). He continued his observations and made sure that
everyone feels subconsciously attracted to certain colors. Later he came to the
conclusion that a person instinctively knows what color it most are better in
tune with its natural appearance.
Practical application of these
observations for a long time did not receive until the 1918 Max Factor is not
with the idea of "color harmony" in the make-up. He began to
use the theory in practice seasons, claiming that it is necessary to take into
account the color of hair, eyes, skin tone and apply all the makeup in a
certain range, and the need to pay well to a depth of color. Good idea - a huge
success! The first colorists were founded upon his theory of inquiry Ittena and
applied them to fashion, makeup, hair color, choice of accessories, in short,
anything that creates an image of man.
If we consider the basis of this theory
- it is very easy. Basic principles of separation of types of color appearance.
The first characteristic - this warm-cool color. Much importance is the skin
tone. Warm colors and tones as it contain the color of the sun - yellow. Cool
colors have a bluish tinge. On the yellowish skin will blend well warm colors,
cool colors can make such a painful skin type. Conversely, if the skin has a
bluish or gray color, it will look more beautiful by using cool colors and warm
colors can make it dull.
Also in the characterization of color used the concept of
depth and intensity. Bright, contrasting colors can accentuate a woman's
appearance and thus completely "erase" the face of another woman
whose tsvetotip requires softer shades. Thus, women with a type of appearance
"winter" suit cool shades, the colors can be bright and contrasting.
"Lethe" is also recommended to use cold colors, but the colors chosen
are soft, muted, pastel. "Spring" recommended a warm palette of soft
hues with bright, "Autumn" will be advantageous to look at the use of
warm saturated colors
For spring palette characteristic of clear, bright, fresh
colors with yellow tint:
peach - pink, yellow sun, green apple, red tomatoes, soft
brown color of milk chocolate.
In autumn, the darker colors, however, as in spring, warm
and golden-yellow hue, such as brown earth, green bottle glass, burgundy-red,
dark orange.
Summer and winter cold are inherent in paint necessarily
with a bluish tint. Summer palette is different from the winter are generally
more powdered, blurred pastel colors. For typical summer color light pink,
raspberry, green sea.
Winter paint, however, differ in the clear, icy tones:
bright purple-pink, dark purple, white or deep black.
Natural color, complexion, eye and hair already stipulates
the choice of a certain scale.
Women need a spring type of fresh paint, summer women - in cool pastel shades, and autumn - in rich tones of color of the earth, women winter type - in pure ice colors.
